As part of my continued reinvigoration of my Getting Things Done system (more on that later), I’m trying to develop a version of David Allen’s incomplete triggers list especially for academics. It’s a Google Doc that’s completely editable so check it out and, if you’ve got stuff to add, please go do so.
Whenever I read things like this:
“Experts rated the vegan diet among the most difficult to follow of all those we ranked. The vegan approach, which eliminates all animal products—including dairy and eggs—is ‘hard to sustain’ because of a ‘lack of variety,’ extreme restriction, and the challenges that come with eating away from home.”
I can’t help but think of this image.

Though I haven’t yet finished it, Mark Leyner’s The Sugar Frosted Nutsack is worth the effort of reading if for nothing but this academic book title:
